Chercheur postdoctoral à l'IVB
Vojtěch Brlík aims to understand the ecological consequences of seasonal bird migration with implications for predicting the impacts of the ongoing environmental change and targeting conservation efforts to counteract negative population trends commonly observed in these highly mobile animals. To achieve this, he combines individual tracking, remote sensing of the environment and measures of breeding performance and long-term population changes. In HABITRACK, he is responsible for quantifying seasonal carry-over effects in target species.
