HABITRACK at IWSG 2025!

HABITRACK came in number to Groningen for the 50th annual conference of the International Wader Study Group (IWSG) on 26-29 September!

All HABITRACK’s PhD Students presented their work!

Odin Rumianowski and Carole Doucerain made a brilliant duo for a talk on integrative connectivity models. Lise Bartholus presented her work on the effects of tagging and tag-carrying on the behavior and activity of snipes. Marie Donnez presented her work on habitat selection by Curlews, and Jimmy Allain presented on the habitat use of Redshanks along their migration. Valeria Valanne for her poster on Species Distribution Modeling for Curlews… not forgetting Aleksi, who presented his work on the population dynamics of waders in sub-arctic Fennoscandia!

We also took the opportunity to meet in person and gather the Steering Board of the project Steering Board of the project, warmly welcomed at Leeuswarden by Mohamed Henriques at Bird Eyes! It was also a great opportunity to discuss future collaborations between our teams!
