Antti Piironen

Antti Piironen is a quantitative ecologist mainly focused on birds. His main research interest is to investigate how environmental factors, and anthropogenic actions affect migratory animal populations on large spatial scales. He also pursues to solving questions that can improve conservation and management of migratory species. In HABITRACK, he develops models to assess demographic mechanisms of population change and the effects of habitats on demography.
