Synthesis paper for the conservation of the Eurasian Curlew
HABITRACK gathered 38 co-authors from 11 countries, 20 years of telemetry data, and 626 Eurasian Curlews fitted with tracking devices across Europe to provide the first synthesis of the contribution of telemetry data to the conservation of the Eurasian Curlew.
The synthesis presents findings on migration, demography and habitat selection, and proposes eight policy briefs to guide public conservation policies for the species across its flyway, as well as the future use of tracking data to improve the conservation status of the Eurasian Curlew.
