New publication on the demography of the wintering population of Wigeons
Antti Piiroinen and collaborators have just published a scientific article on the demography of the Northwest European wintering population of the Eurasian Wigeon.
They developed an integrated population model (IPM) to estimate population development and structure, demographic rates, contributions of different demographic rates to population change, and the environmental drivers of demography from 1976 to 2023.
