Aleksi Lehikoinen
Senior Researcher at the University of Helsinki
Aleksi Lehikoinen’s research focuses on the effects of environmental changes, such as climate change and human land use changes, on species’ abundances and distributions. He has led the monitoring of common birds in Finland since 2010 and his own research group, the Helsinki Lab of Ornithology, HelLO, since 2013. In HABITRACK, Aleksi Lehikohinen is studying how future land use and climate scenarios will impact the ecological niche of the target species.
